Yeah I'm about to be really annoying. This thread is for Megg. Not about her, not insulting her, nothing like that. But apparently we haven't contacted enough so I decided to make a thread compiling all the questions anyone has to ask her. I can understand Tumblr eating asks, and maybe a few things on Facebook getting deleted, and maybe a couple emails didn't go through. But all in all we can't prove anything. So I thought it would be a good idea to put the questions all compiled in a sort of public setting where anyone can view them and instead of sending her link after link and ask after ask we can just put it in this thread and send her one link with all of them. This will be screen-capped in case it gets deleted. If anyone else has any questions please post them in this thread to be compiled. If anyone needs to correct me please do so. - Who was running the social media sites the last few weeks? Who was monitoring them in your stead, since you couldn't check them?
- Has Dashcon been liquidated? If it has, have the creditors been paid?
- IF the con goes on, what will you do for the safety of your con goers if they feel threatened by your staff? Safety has been addressed in many different threads and shouldn't be overlooked simply because you didn't receive an ask about it.
- How many asks or emails were you sent regarding Dashcon/Emoti-con? It had to be more than three.
- Will any artist's content brought to the con be censored? Or any cosplays? For instance Emoti-Cob or the ball pit?
- Why is R0xanne corrected to Voldemort in the forums? How in anyway is that professional?
- Have you stayed in contact with R0xanne or Lochlan? R0xanne seems very vilified in this situation.
- Why have you addressed this on your fantroll blog and not your personal blog?
These are all I can think of while staying civil and polite. If anyone else has anything else to add PLEASE DO. I will probably add on later as well.

- Is Cain's possible criminal activity contributing to the decision to close/not close Emoti-Con?
- Will Megg ever release a statement that properly answers questions?
- Will Emoti-Con comment on the possible booking of a guest?
- Why is it Megg continues to bring blame upon Voldemort while also excusing much more problematic behavior? This speaks to a personal vendetta as opposed to a deserved one.

I'm seconding the question about the forums autocorrecting R0xanne to Voldemort.
None of the new staff (Nik, Jacob, Michaela etc) had that sort of vendetta against her.
Which suggests that either Cain or Megg (a grown woman) thought that it was not only a professional thing to do on an official event forum, but that it would be effective in preventing discussion??
Did they think that people wouldn't notice? Did they think that people would find it funny?
I would give a lot to know the thought process behind this.

I went through all the threads on the Emoti-con forums and rephrased a few questions to be one line and made a few others, went through Princessparadoxical's masterlist and formed a few questions from those. These are not meant to be rude, though they may come off a bit snarky and I will apologize for that in advance. - What kind of panels would be approved?
- Why is it that you can suggest a panel, but you might not run it?
- Where did you get the idea from?
- Would any panels function as propaganda for GamerGate, sexism, racism, etc?
- Why is 4chan no longer on your webpage?
- What changed to instigate this?
- Why is it still in the graphic?
- Has reddit expressed any sort of interest in this convention?
- Who considered it appropriate to delete Facebook comments showing the staff's wrongdoings, which apparently Megg didn't even know about?
- When was it decided posting on the wall was no longer appropriate?
- How many Facebook messages have been recieved for this convention?
- How many have been responded too?
- How do you plan to handle con-goer's panic attacks? Albeism has been met on several sides from staff and it is well known that there were attendees at the last con having panic attacks.
- Who will be on security and will they be allowed to lay hands on any attendees? I understand if an attendee is violent or harrassing people but it is also well known in another post by Jacob that he had physically escort Voldemort because he thought she would bolt from the convention, which from other witnesses accout personally sounds like a load of phoey.
- What harrassmant have you recieved, BESIDES death threats, or constant questions? Considering Voldemort was literally bullied off tumblr, I understand that these should not be excused and are not okay, but as far as the public knows death threats were not sent to Nick or Jacob or any other Emoti-con staff. Even Lochlan has been harrassed and been told to shut up about it. So besides revealing sexist and racist things that staff has said, what sort of harrassmant has happened?
- What guests is/are Emoti-con trying to secure?
- If you obtain guests what sort of precautions are you going to take to ensure that they are paid and their travel and hotel are managed?
- Will Megg be handling this or someone else?
- What will Megg be responsible for and take accountability for?
- What will the other staff be responsible for and will they come forward to take accountability themselves if they fail?
- Do you feel it would make more sense to market yourselves as a social media convention rather than 'The Internet' with as broad of a term that is? (idk have you seen Goatsee come on)
- Have you considered Livejournal being part of the websites you mention?
- Why did you email people who weren't involved, enticing them to come to your second con? I can understand emailing attendees who genuinely enjoyed themselves, since there were quite a few, however this email list seems odd and I was looking for clarification over who was emailed and why?
- Will you be going through with the early bird party?
- Approximetly, and with honesty, how many people have bought tickets?
- What do you plan to do about communication so all security and staff and especially admins can stay in contact? If 1,000 people in a convention center can mess up some cell phone towers someone should probably look into it.
- Even if you weren't completely aware of the staffs behavior, why didn't anyone tell you? Why didn't anyone tell you what people outside of your staff on tumblr were saying?
- Were you in contact with your staff at all? Communication seems like a really big issue between staff members, in Dashcon AND Emoti-con.
- When was staff told to stop responding to social media questions?
That's what I got for right now.

I have some questions. On July 19 you were interviewed for the website AnimeSecrets.org: animesecrets.org/dashcon-2014-interview-with-organizers/. In this interview you talk about Dashcon 2015 and say you will do things differently. Only four days after this interview So Attacked Entertainment was created. The Emoti-Con website was registered on July 28 and, according to the interviewer, you were supposed to have another interview on the 26 or 27 of July. *When did you get the idea to form a second company and convention? *Did you have any intentions of going through with the second interview? *When were you going to tell people Dashcon was being dissolved? There was no post until people started linking Dashcon to Emoti-Con and calling it the second Dashcon. *You said that no one sent you asks regarding the safety concerns of Emoti-Con. As you can see on these forums there are multiple posts about safety concerns. There are posts all over Tumblr and Facebook, too. People sent you emails and asks. Someone even reblogged a post from your fantrolls blog, which had a link to the very proof you claim no one provided. With you not reading social media and disabling asks on your main blog, how did you expect people to contact you if an important issue came up? There's no way you can deny people tried getting in touch with you. If you wanted proof why didn't you ask for it instead of ignoring asks? *Did you read your staff's blogs before hiring them? Jacob has been reblogging anti-feminist stuff before even Dashcon happened. I'm sure Nik posted similar things. If you did see these posts why did you hire them in the first place? You reblogged a post from his personal, so you can't say you didn't know he had one. *If you look at the responses from Nik, Jacob, and Angela you'll see that they're very hostile towards people asking questions. Your response was very hostile as well (telling someone to go suck a bag of dicks in response to a question about sexism is really messed up). If this convention does continue how do you plan on convincing people that things will be different? *If you plan on including sites like Reddit why haven't you advertised there? Why only Tumblr? That's all I have right now but I'll add more if I think of more.

If Megg cannot answer some of these questions, instead of blaming someone else could you please have them answer it themselves without hostility or at least gain a statement from them, like a screenshot of them saying what you claim that they have admitted to or done? Making some of the others have accountability and say 'It was my fault' instead of someone else saying 'it was their fault' and then having that person disappear or state a different story, would certainly help the situation and give us a higher state of trust, since many of the points used against you seem to be because the person supposedly at fault is not coming forward with their side of the story.
So please, if you cannot answer, have a different member of staff answer politely with accountability. Thank you.

Was R0xanne demoted to secretary? If so, why is she continuously talked about having admin responsibilities and being a co-owner?

More questions:
*Why was R0xanne's bio reblogged during DashCon when no other bios were reblogged?
*I know this was already asked but was R0xanne really demoted? If so why reblog a biography that says she's an admin?
*Why haven't you made a post on the Emoti-Con Tumblr saying you're aware of the issues and are looking into them?
*Why haven't you taken any responsibility for what's happened?

Megg and Cain changed the rules halfway through Dashcon to ensure that attendees wouldn’t be able to seek reimbursement for the failed Welcome To Night Vale panel. This wasn’t something that was in place from the beginning - it was a deliberate choice that they made halfway through the convention in order to ensure that it was attendees (and not themselves) that were put at a financial disadvantage as a result of their own sheer incompetence.
Their rules stated that DashCon reserves the right to change these rules at any time but they then claimed that
"DashCon has been instructed that refunding the reserved seats in direct opposition with our rules would call into question all of our rules and policies. We are both saddened by and understanding of this stance. Potentially losing the enforcement of all of our rules and policies is not something we can risk now or at any time in the future. For anyone who has questions regarding this decision, we will [upon request] direct you to our legal counsel."
Which is complete and utter bullshit in every conceivable way. They were left thousands of dollars in debt as a result of their own unprofessional behaviour and mismanagement, and decided to take whatever they could get away with rather than acting with any sort of integrity.
1. Can Megg give an adequate answer as to why Dashcon deliberately chose to pass the financial cost onto attendees rather than take it on themselves?
2. In light of these events, can Megg tell us why anyone should believe that the same team would be willing to refund tickets? Especially as they wrote a rule for Emoti-Con that said "Emoti-Con and So Attacked Entertainment will not refund badges or related tickets of any reason".

Will you be hiring someone with experience in PR to deal with your social media handles? Or at least someone who will contact you about them on a regular basis?

Why did you wait until Dec 9th to answer? Yes it was given as a deadline but it is still a valid question.
What is Cain doing at this point? Being the other admin one would think he was getting as many questions, and had his hands in as much as you did. Why isn't he answering the social media platforms or any asks?
What is the rest of staff doing at this point? If the con goes through the date is a little over six months away. No guest has been announced. No schedule has been announced.
Will you be answering all of the questions above? If not why? If it is because of time, you were given two weeks where questions could have been spaced, and two admins that could have answered. If it is repetitiveness please refer to the answer and question that is redundant.
By August 25th of 2013 you announced the major guest at Dashcon 2014, a full year before the con. Version 5 of the schedule was updated August 16th of 2013. The Final schedule was released on February 5th of 2014. At this point the question is if you did go through with the con, what would be ready in time.
Would you be replacing staff?
Can you give a rough estimate of who has volunteered? And a separate rough estimate of panels planned?
Do you have any ideas for guests you may advertise to get peoples attention?
Do you believe word of mouth from other celebrities soiled the pool, and stifled any possible guests attendance?
What do you think caused Dashcon 2014 to have such a low attendance? According to the archives there were survey's taken to see who would attend. Was this before the price of tickets were announced? Or perhaps no attendance from big names like Jensen Ackles and Tom Hiddleston?
Are any admins or members of staff getting paid for their involvement in this con? If so where are the funds coming from? If the con does not go through will staff members be compensated for their time or receive any severance?
Hopefully that's the last of it. I really do hope all these questions are answered, considering roleplaying was put before this and it is considered a professional job, or at least was shown to be perceived as one. In a time period of two weeks tackling a few questions a day seems doable. I would like to commend Dashcon staff for having a Disability service (announced March 7th on their tumblr page) and addressed service animals. However many safety concerns have been brought up concerning Emoti-con and many have so far been over looked.

I have another question that I can't find addressed above.
Megg has claimed on tumblr that none of the money from Emoti-Con ticket sales has been spent, and can be refunded if the con folds. Will the people who bought advance tickets for Dashcon 2 and subsequently had them converted to Emoti-Con be refunded as well?
